Presidential chicken

No this has nothing to do with the current (United States) election. Instead, it is from Ghana.

Evidently, the president of Ghana (a country in West Africa) went on an official visit to a place called Dixcove and, while attending, was greeted by a chicken!

I am quite charmed at a distance by the nature of this. Unlike other countries that are more officially developed, here they just have a bare floor with some carpets and a canopy for their statesmen, and a chicken or two running around. There is no way the Secret Service would allow that to happen at the White House. But then again, no one wants to assassinate anyone as badly as the (U. S.) president, so maybe it is for the best.

Anyway, I am happy on account of the chicken because I’ve recently given up mine.

A hopefully entertaining blogger, frequently of technical things, but some artistic commentary too.
