I’m not sure what to make of this book cover, which I found in my grand mother’s old attic:

Whitaker: How to be the Happy Wife of an Unsaved Husband. Linda Davis. Forward by Dr. Richard Dobbins.

This is clearly a Christian book, given the term “Unsaved” and the forward by Richard Dobbins, a Christian psychologist as his obituary states. Whitaker is additionally a publisher of specifically Christian books.

Having noted that, I’m not sure about the particular imagery of the cover. A flower missing a petal? Anyone know the symbolism here? I was not really raised in a symbolicly aware manner, so these things go right by me.

And then there is the question of whether or not this book is any good. I haven’t seen the inside of it.
